Mena Alexa Suvari was born on the 29th of September, 1979. She is a famous American fashion designer, model and actress. Shortly after beginning her career as a model she soon moved into acting, after appearing as a guest on 90's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. Her debut on film was the show Nowhere, released in 1997. With American Beauty and American Pie her name was recognized for her performances. In the following years, she starred in Loser (2000) along with the American Pie co-star Jason Biggs as well as later portrayed the lead role in the comedy film Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun and Trauma, a thriller from 2004 was her second appearance. The actress was a part of HBO's drama series Six Feet Under. In 2004 she was nominated as an Outstanding Cast member at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
